  Under Siege 2011

I started playing drums at the age of 7 and continued onto learning guitar from the age of 11. During my time at Secondary school I played in a band with school mates, performing a mixture of funk/rock covers and originals. From there I began gaining live experience with this band, performing at local Medway venues and larger outdoor events such as Under Siege at the Rochester Castle Summer Concerts. Alongside this, I played with pro cover bands to widen my knowledge of styles and I attended local jam nights to gain experience of performing with different people. When I was 15 years old, I achieved Grade 8 Drums with Trinity Guildhall.

  Drummathon 2013

From 2012 to 2014, I completed a BMus Degree in Professional Music Performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford. During my time at ACM, I learnt from industry professionals including Frank Tontoh (Amy Winehouse, Craig David), Toby Drummond (Wicked, We Will Rock You) and Pete Riley. In 2013, I was a part of a world record attempt in which a team of drummers including Craig Blundell and Mike Dolbear drummed for 2 hour stints for a total of 70 hours straight. From studying at ACM, I have expanded my musical knowledge to now having a decent understanding of music theory, songwriting/rearranging and recording production.

  Royal Monster 2023

I officially became a full time professional musician in 2015 and I have been involved with a number of musical projects and bands since, working both live and in the studio. Highlights include performing nationally with a Royal Blood tribute going by the name of Royal Monster - some of the shows we played recently in 2023 being particularly epic! Also, playing an impromptu song on drums with Marmozets in Portsmouth in 2017 was something I'll remember vividly for a long time.

Have a look at the live shows page for a list of upcoming gigs.
